Thanksgiving

Here is an update on what we did with our Thanksgiving Vacation! We stayed home and had a nice quiet day to ourselves. It was soo nice to be just us since things have been so crazy here! Later that evening after the magic Thanksgiving elves cleaned up my kitchen, we went to Kimberly to Grandma and Grandpa's for pie! It was sooo fun to go and watch football and visit. The boys even got a little football tossing going outside in the dark! We took up our new family pictures and school pictures and got to look back through the years to see how much we have changed! The kids got a kick out of that!

On Friday we dragged the Christmas tree up and surprised Kevin by setting it up all by ourselves. The kids were great at separating all the colors together and then straightening out the branches so we could make it look nice and full! When Kevin came home from work we put the lights on and then the kids had tons of fun putting on all the ornaments!

Saturday we spent the day doing laundry and just finishing the Christmas touches, then we headed to Kimberly again for turkey dinner and fun with our cousins that we don't get to see very often!!

It was sooooooo nice to be able to spend that time with my kids right now it doesn't seem like I get to do that as much, well I don't get to do that as much! A big adjustment for me. We had a good time reading stories and just messing around! We definately have to plan more time for that!
